Standards
Code of conduct
Everyone at ๐๏ธ AI โ builders, judges, partners, and audience โ agrees to this. It's short on purpose.
Expected
What we ask of everyone
Build honestly
Disclose pre-existing code, templates, collaborators, and prior work. The disclosure fields exist so honesty never costs you a fair score.
Give and take feedback in good faith
Public comments and judge feedback should be specific and constructive. Criticize the work, not the person.
Respect the clock and the process
Deadlines, judging windows, and voting periods apply equally to everyone. Asking for exceptions is fine; expecting them isn't.
Keep sponsorship and judging separate
Partners don't lobby judges or staff for favorable treatment. Judges with any conflict of interest declare it before scoring.
Not tolerated
What gets you removed
- Harassment, hate speech, or targeted insults directed at any builder, judge, partner, or staff member.
- Vote manipulation โ creating or coordinating accounts to inflate community voting.
- Undisclosed use of another person's work, code, or a template, presented as original.
- Impersonating a judge, partner, or staff member, on or off the platform.
- Sharing another participant's private information without consent.
- Retaliating against someone for raising a dispute or reporting a concern.
Enforcement
How this actually gets applied
First step: a private conversation
Most issues get resolved with a direct note from the production team. We assume good faith unless the pattern says otherwise.
Formal actions are logged
Point penalties, submission disqualification, and account suspension are recorded in the public audit trail with a stated reason โ the same trail that records every other scoring change.
Severity sets the response
A single undisclosed template gets a penalty. Coordinated vote manipulation or harassment gets accounts suspended, as happened during Season 3's Week 2 voting review.
Appeals go through the same dispute process
If you believe an enforcement action was wrong, raise it through contact โ every dispute gets a written resolution.
See something off?
Reports go to the production team directly, not to a public thread.
